I am not certain if this is real or repro but I got it at low price and it looks good. The sign is 15" x 5". I cannot find a match for the Indian Chief logo on this sign either real or repro. The sign that it is a vintage sign is that it has 6 holes to screw it to a wall. Real advertising signs tend to have more than hole for each corner. They usually have holes in the middle along the top and bottom edges and they are not reinforced. Not quite sure why they do that. It does make it more difficult for unauthorized removal ie theft and it looks better as the sign is flatter against the wall. The brand has been around since 1904 so it is guaranteed not to be older than that.
In the last photo I have it above the large fan. In the meantime, I have another sign to fill that empty space on the lower right.

Brings back some memories...I used to chew red man..probably before I was supposed to. It was a sweet tasting tobacco and long cuts.

      Here's one reproduction I found..

Thank you very much Dave. It says it is guaranteed to be old and original in the link. Looks like this one is original perhaps.

A good one. Although I can't think of anything more disgusting than chewing tobacco.
