This was a great find at a shop I hadn't visited in a while due to the lockdown.
It measures an impressive 34 cm tall, 9 cm across the top rim, & 9.8 cm across the base, which has a rough pontil mark. The vase is made from light green glass shading to clear at the base with an iridescent finish. There is a irregularly ribbed texture that looks like a stretched - out Martele decor. For its large size, the vase is surprisingly light & delicate.
It has an elegant elongated form with a tulip shaped top.
A beautiful piece. Congratulations. Apart from Kralik, it could be some glassworks from Teplice - especially Rindskopf.
I like the colour plus iridescence. They look great on the black background.
Mmmm.....Nice one.
Beautiful! The shape is soooo elegant!
The shape has a slightly Rindskopf vibe to me, but really don't know. Love it though.
Much appreciated, Ales - & I'll look into the Rindskopf idea - interestingly, it was my first thought as I picked up the vase in the shop. Later comparing it to some other items I began to think of Kralik as a possibility. Keeping my mind open!
Thanks also, Ivonne! Yes, they do work well together, this old piece of Japanese fabric has been a useful backdrop for my glass photos for some years now...
Many thanks Peggy, thought you'd enjoy this one! It made my two hour trip into town very worthwhile when I spotted it...buying online is great, but making a nice find in person is the best of all...
Thanks also, Wow22 - today I've been comparing it to some of my Rindskopf pieces & I'm feeling this one could possibly be one of their products...will be doing a bit more research...the shape has certain aspects of some of the shapes used in their version of the Pepita decor...
Artfoot, sorry I got my reply to your comment out of order - & many thanks!
After doing some more research I've found a few images of vases in this same shape ID'd as Rindskopf, so I'm leaning towards that now...

I saw I had seen one it says Michelle that is Rindskopf, so it must be
In my opinion it looks very close to yours
Many thanks, kivatinitz - that vase of Michelle's looks just like mine, so it seems I've scored myself a nice piece of Rindskopf - yay!
Love absolutely everything about this!
Marin, I have a vase in the same shape and size that has a more teal tone to it; I have always identified it as Rindskopf. You have a lovely vase - the color is very delicate. :)
Sublime colouring.
Thanks so much, vintagelamp!
Much appreciated, Michelle - & so nice to think we've got glass "siblings" in common!
Thanks also, Karen!
You have done well with showing the colours and iridescence, I too have a pair,of Rindskopf ‘s like this and I know how hard it is to take a good photo..well done!.. love these!..
Many thanks, Penny!
I'm fortunate to have a super combination of natural & artificial lighting in my studio, making it the idea spot to take photos of glass!
