This little vase is going onto my 'jewel' shelf - a collection of beautiful little vases where each one is a special little thing that deserves close up inspection. It measures only 3.5" (8.9cm) tall, and is beautifully enameled with the flowers and leaves of a poppy. Each flower and leaf is outlined in gold. The 'F.H.' portion of the numbering on the bottom is worn, but you can still see the decor number. I love these little Heckert vases, because they are so beautiful and easy fit into a collection!
A tiny Heckert gem makes a fitting addition to your 'jewel' shelf.

Peggy, thank you. I agree completely - I have a shelf just over my computer, so I can just glance up at my little ones. I am starting to find quite a few Heckert pieces up there! :)
