This is a recent Estate sale purchase....I believe it's a Chinese bronze vase from the 1800's maybe?....it has a beautiful rich dark patina...(the picture dont do it justice)....its approx 8.5 inches in Ht.... in great condition and has no marks
too difficult for me
personal i think this a pseudo alloy ,
remarkable there is no cisele or at best a shallow cisele, and why are there not applications
second what is the round symbol i thought it was a stylized Cai , i did,not understand the symbol in this way , probably lack of skill
IMO opinion this is a mind over matter scene in the Niu way ( ox way)
so according to Zen we are in the The path to enlightenment in 10 Pictures
and in which stage are we = chogyan trunpa,
we have to find the prints of the bull , and tame the bull otherwise we can,t get rid of the earthly s,,, , like suffering , money seksual desire and the sitcom family ties
so the bull is not tied anymore and the bull is tamed , and the mind is prevalent to the matter
imo the only academical is the floating yellyfish , maybe the gratification for ( almost) reaching the nirvana
in mine opining this is an contemporain vase,
it is a cute vase , congrats
