Here's an authentic promotional item from the ADVENTURE TEAM series of the 1980's. People like me that saved the UPC codes (points) from Marlboro packs could send them in to order their choice(s) of what were generally high quality items of all kinds of descriptions -- about everything one could conceivably connect to an outdoor-adventure marketing campaign anyway, from cigarette lighters to a boat -- choosing from a catalog. Everything was boldly branded MARLBORO of course, lots of the higher end items carried their original manufacturer's branding as well.
This reversible jacket was one such item. When its red side is turned out, the zipper is on the man's (RH) side, and there is a single embroidered "M" patch near the cuff on the right sleeve. With the black side turned out, the name MARLBORO is in red embroidered letters across the back. Men's size L, there isn't a tag anywhere to show who actually manufactured it, just one small tag for care instructions in one of the four pockets.
I remember my uncle saved his Points
He redeemed his for a Lung machine
