I found these two birds in a garage sale recently.

They are both signed O. Toikka Nuutajärvi and have the iittala label.
The big one is roughly 30cm long.

It's the first time that I saw any of these birds.

Thanks for the information & evaluation, apostata. I got very lucky with these.

I love flea markets and thrift shops but this was the first garage sale I went to (they are not common in my area), stopped on a whim and am glad I did - it was absolutely worth it.

My bathroom decoration is mainly green so they fit in very nicely.

Not sure I understand your last comment though ;)

the last comment is about a seller on EBay an listing , he is selling a toikka bird and he did,not knew it is a very rare , so rare ,, that a common buyer don,t know the value of it, actually it is a rookie mistake , he probably thought it was an pekkasini
so if there is an toikka collecter on this site i think this is must have, because it is an easy profit
i can,t buy it , because i already have an major provider , and i buy large combined shipping , and i have to store it, and single shipping is too expensive to Holland
