Yes another exciting graniteware cup that is possibly an antique. It is vintage at least. Graniteware like this was popular in the last decade of the 19th century but it was made after that too so hard to date it. This one has a silver ring around the rim. I do not know anything about that. But some age can be seen on and in the underside of the cup where the coating has broken off. Graniteware is a glass/porcelain coating that is easy to clean but is easily damaged. If you don't see what I call beauty marks it probably isn't vintage.
This cup is coffee mug sized. It shall be my bathroom cup. Everyone needs one of those.
Nice colors.
I like the silver ring. It gives it that little something extra and probably helped to protect the rim from chips.
P.S. Expectations are high for a big Christmas post from you of vintage Santas and happy elves any time soon.
Thank you very much Dave.
Thank you very much elanski. The Santas and elves are getting ready.
