This etching was made in 1835-37 by M. Huet aka Constant Huet, born Jean Baptiste. M. Huet was the man in the very first photographic portrait ever made in 1837 by Daguerre. It was taken in one of the buildings seen in the etching.
The etching is very unusual for it's size. The opening in the matt is 10.5 inches by 16.5 inches which is very large. I haven't opened it up yet to see if there's more to it. From what i could gather, this is a very rare etching.
