Lledo Chevron Diecast Refinery No. 21 Pickup

Another gift from my stocking. Expected to see "made in china", but this is the English made version.

I believe this is a 1941 Plymouth truck?

    LLEDO WHO?
"Lledo was a British manufacturing company founded in 1982 by Matchbox co-founder Jack Odell, and Burt Russell, and based in Enfield. The factory produced mainly die-cast scale model commercial vehicles, and also cars, from 1983 to 1999, when the company went into bankruptcy. Models were later made in China."

    RPM MOTOR OILS
"RPM is a trademark of CHEVRON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LLC. Filed in March 16 (1936)."

    WHY 21?
What is the significance of Refinery 21? My guess ..(and I may be incorrect)...
"Standard Oil controlled 21 of Cleveland's 26 refineries by 1872, as well as major refineries in New York, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh. Ten years later the company controlled 90% of the nation's refining capacity."

    STANDARD OIL >>CHEVRON
"Standard Oil Co. was an American oil-producing, transporting, refining, and marketing company. Established in 1870 by John D. Rockefeller and Henry Flagler as a corporation in Ohio."

    THURSDAY, July 5, 1900 12:30AM
"Lightning reportedly struck the Bay View tavern and boarding house, at 435 E. 22nd St., sending flames to the nearby oil fields and setting off explosions in three storage tanks, each having a capacity of 40,000 barrels of oil."
"Finally, after 70 hours, on Saturday at 10:30 p.m., the fire burned out. It left behind a reported 19 injured and costs amounting to $2.5 million."

I'll leave links I'm the comments for those who want to read more.
