I see thousands of bronzed leather baby shoes but this is the first bronzed crocheted baby bootie. I don't know how old it is but my guess is 1930's or 1940's.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen a bronzed, crocheted bootie, either.
I can't quite make out all of the details of workmanship, but it looks like the sole, the upper, and the strap were all crocheted as separate pieces, and then joined via more crochet (the sole and the upper), or sewn (the strap to the upper).
