little metal art-deco salt/pepper

This little pair aren't quite 2" tall but are reasonably heavy for their small size. I'm calling them "art deco" because that's what their cylindrical shape with stepped bottom and top says to me -- just my opinion there. :-) I think they are made of solid aluminum, each one has a nice screw in bottom cap. There are no markings, both remain kinda dirty and the salt has a tiny bit of corrosion typical of such things. I don't know how old they are, but mid-century seems likely.
