Very nice item spotted today in a charity shop and reminded me instantly of that chariot racing scene in Ben Hur...Or the sort of statues you see on the top of Romanesque buildings.
This one depicts a chariot and two horses and matches in with the other Grecian types of statues I'm ending up collecting(except those are usually all goddesses!) I took this fellow because he's so different... :D

Absolutely gorgeous chariot statue, I really love this! Wonderfully formed horses and Greco Roman rider, such a lively pose you can really picture the action as they're taking off for the race. Possibly alabaster, the sculpture material is lovely
I think their wonderful too Newfld. really strong and powerful looking alright!
