Hi can anyone identify this tea set for me found whilst clearing a house out, there is also sugar pot plates etc. There is no markings and it doesn't have the geisha in the cup. Struggling to find anything about it, thanks in advance for any help.

this is only for matcha =tea ceremony not for ranchi ( lunch) that,s an western invention
so it is paret of a set , depends how deep your pockets are and your social standing 12 to 21 pieces i believe something like that

the geisha is an lithophanes is no comparison mostly it is eggshell porcelain range is 1900-1950 and in your alledged thesis between 1930-1950

well that,s a good start because at least it saves, you a visit to an hospital dripper for lead poisning after extreme uses ( slight eexaggeration)

this still remains moriage ( raised enamel) dragons and lightning ( Raitoningu) style

it is generic ( without mark or kiln reference ( probably not to dodge legislation) , because so the origin of the country is not mandatory)

to me it looks like something of 1950 ties, it does, not a later colour combination, but i am guessing
