This rather small lantern was made in Hong Kong which makes it vintage kind of. Made in China means not vintage. I believe Hong Kong items tend to be from the 60s and 70s. The Marx Disneykins were made in Hong Kong starting in 1961. Well that is enough padding.
The lantern here is my smallest at 7" tall. It seems to be fully functional. I have some wicks that will fit it but I am out of kerosine. The problem with kerosine is that it evaporates so I use my propane lanterns for the frequent power outages.
In the last photo I have it with two other lanterns to show how small it is. Now I really need to see how much light it can make. Taking a guess not quite enough to read by.
A nice group of lanterns. It looks like you have a fantastic set of 3 bear-ers of light!
Thank you very much Alfie.
