Hello everyone!!!
It's been a while since I've posted any foxes from my collection. Here are two red fox bottle openers. I'm not sure when these were manufactured. Due to the color variations, between the two, I'm willing to believe these were manufactured several years apart. These foxes are made of aluminum and each measure 5" tall, 5 1/4" long and 3" wide. These were manufactured by Scott Products, Inc. in Margate City, NJ. They've been in business since 1948 and are still in operation today.
Thanks for stopping in for a look!!
Scott
Scott...am I missing something..I did just wake up...how do you open bottles with them? Is there something on the bottom?
Hi Dave!! The opener is on the bottoms. I’ll have to swap out one of the pics with one showing the opener.
Very unique and cute!

the first time I see bottleopeners with this shape
Thanks kivatintz!! I do not see this particular design often.
I am still puzzled about the bottle opener aspect. Maybe the oppener is hidden for those SLY drinkers ? *
* {{“sly as a fox”. Foxes are very smart in ways that matter: finding food, surviving in weather extremes, outwitting predators, protecting their young}}
Or finding a way to open that bottle.
LOL
Hi Lori,
You're not the first to be puzzled by these. We have a lot of visitors that don't understand how they work as bottle openers and I demonstrate for them. But, that simply gives me a good reason to have a beer with them:)
