This Singer sewing machine was made in 1924 in the Elizabethport, New Jersey (USA) factory. I inherited it from my great-grandmother.

      Hi, dzeledon. :-)

I saw this post the other day, but failed to comment, because it didn't seem like you wanted any help (I'm not an expert, but I seem to have fallen into the role of the latter day Collectors Weekly Show & Tell vintage sewing machine helper).

It's very cool that you have your great-grandmother's sewing machine. :-)

You didn't provide the actual serial number, and I can't read it in your picture, but if your machine was indeed manufactured in 1924 at the Elizabethport factory, then it probably has a "G" or "AA" prefix serial number:

      *snip*

      ELIZABETHPORT

      G-1 to G-999,999 1924 1924

      AA series 1924 1926

      https://ismacs.net/singer_sewing_machine_company/singer_dating_by_serial_number.html

With that forward-facing tension assembly, D-shaped needle plate, and the low-mounted Singer badge, it looks like a model 99:

      https://oldsingersewingmachineblog.com/tag/difference-between-singer-66k-and-99k/

Because it seems to be a model 99, then it probably has an "AA" prefix serial number (because I saw no model 99 machines at all in the "G" serial number tables). Here are the only two blocks of "AA" serial numbers allotted for model 99 machines:

      *snip*

      AA- 001501 011500 99 10000 August 19 1924
      AA- 117201 137200 99 20000 October 22 1924

      *snip*

      https://ismacs.net/singer_sewing_machine_company/serial-numbers/singer-aa-series-serial-numbers.html

If the serial number on yours falls into that first group of 10,000 consecutive numbers (001501 through 011500) allotted August 19 1924 , then it probably rolled off of the assembly line some time between then, and the allotment date of the next block of 20,000 consecutive numbers (block 117201 through 137200), allotted October 22 1924.

If it falls into the second group, then it probably rolled off of the assembly line before the allotment date of the next block of numbers destined for model 99 machines (255636 through 270635, allotted February 26 1925):

      *snip*

      AA- 255636 270635 99 15000 February 26 1925

      *snip*

      Anyway, about the model 99:

I spy a knee controller, so yours is probably the model 99-13.

Your decal set is called Filigree:

I can't see your machine's faceplate or rear access panel, but here is a gallery of them for you to browse (they do show one for a 1923 model 99[K]):

Your case is probably model 195:

      Here's a manual for the model 99-13:

However, it's a lot to sift through, so if you have any questions, you can just ask them here in a comment on your post. :-)
