Picked up a set of four vintage folding chairs at Long Beach. These are a bit smaller than the standard folding chair. They are the same height at the seat level but slimmer and the seat is a bit smaller (see fig. 4). I am thinking these predate the current style of metal folding chair (as used by wrestlers). These are also a bit heavier and solid, I believe they have been banned by the WWE.
A nice feature of these is that they fold up flat as a pancake. About 3/4" wide folded up. Also what works for me is the back legs set on a solid bar so the legs don't fall through the slats in the deck. I have a largr deck and now I have plenty of seating.
Now for the shabby chic part. They have been painted dark brown with a paint brush and there are some attractive chips in the paint. It works for me.
