I think that this is early - Kangshi Imari. I especially like the mauve pink color and the green color. It's a nice plate - 18th c, i think. It's 9" in diameter. any feedback appreciated!

you did an excellent job Pete ( fast learner)
blue after glare bottom and an ( not Batavian ) brown coffee rim so we are in the 18 century or earlier
is it early Kangxi, no that it is not , is IMO an misconception , the Yangxai tonality came from Europe to China and not the other way around , it was known in China Around 1686-1687-1888 but due to the latency period , the factual implementation was around 1717-1720
glazing
is this imari porcelain , and now you lost me
for imari styling is mandatory the so called not wet ferro red and spotlighted underglaze blue and white porcelain, also the red ought to be be skinnier and less bright
and this is (bad eyes)some kind of repaint or overpaint
actually i thought because of the dominance of the pink , that it got some early qianlong period influences , but it is style is the key factor not the tonality , so you are right probably
is this precious objects , well that is splitting ants, personally scholars gadgets , for an precious table you have not got much choice aint it , hahaha
nice plate something like 1720
addendum chinese imari,s got pseudo gold gilt
thank you apostata! you always leave me w/ more questions than answers, but that's a good thing. my best teachers always leave me w/ more questions! i'll go over this more later. did you see that tiny little cup i found yesterday? i'd love your opinion. probably nothing, but still...
from what i've been reading, the green color in this is very unusual. the deep pink is typical of this period. could this be Yongcheng?
i don,t know precisely , the most call it just 18 century
the light green is diaper design , and because it is so heavy on the pink , i was thinking possible early qianlong
i can,t narrow it down , this is all i got, i am not God
thanks apostata!
