Thank you Scott for your really lovely praise, I'm glad you liked the amethyst rhinestones. Because this is an older brooch that color often looks a darker purple under indoor lighting, so while I was outside taking pix of my glass fish I thought the daylight would bring out the beauty of this brooch - being a Sagittarius purple is my favorite and lucky color so I'm glad the pix did the brooch justice
Phil thank you for your super compliments and I'm glad to be able to show you a nice prong set piece, you're right that does indicate fine quality & care for the wearer that her jewelry is secure. Wiesner made some really pretty gems and I'm happy to have found some nice ones over the yrs - this design also came in aqua stones but in winter I like to mix in some seasonal colors, also this is Mardi Gras/Carnival time when purple is a focal color
Thank you MrsT for your very kind compliment for these purple rhinestones, I think they are also enhanced by the silvery setting which gives it some added sparkle :)
Many thanks Mary for the thoughtful love for this purple Wiesner brooch, one of the Mardi Gras/Carnival colors seemed very appropriate for this weekend :)
