I could not leave this damaged brooch behind. Fifty cents and it was mine. The front looks good - it's in wearable condition - but sadly, the back is damaged. As you can see, the protective back is missing. I am thinking of putting something there to protect the beautiful stone from breaking. But on the other hand, the brooch may just join the cameo in the display cabinet.
