Here's an interesting & unusual Art Nouveau glass vase which I won on eBay AU last week.
It is made from purple/amethyst glass with an iridescent finish. Measuring 17.8 cm tall, 5 cm across the cut top rim, & 8 cm across the base, it features four panels of a moulded pattern which I would describe as "cellular", alternating with four plain panels, separated by ribs. This creates a rather striking design on the base.
Thanks to Peggy & Craig I can now attribute this as an example of Kralik Honeycomb Panel.
Lovely shape and decor, Marin. It's Kralik Panel.
Many thanks, Peggy!
Thought this was maybe Kralik but wasn't sure enough to make a confident pronouncement...appreciate the confirmation!
Kralik Honeycomb Panel. A very nice example.
Many thanks, Craig - & duly amended!
This have a wonderful rainbow iridescence! Beautiful!
Thanks so much, Michelle!
