Hello I just rediscovered this pendant and remember that I posted the ring I found with this but for some reason I separated them.
The chain is very unusual and is totally matted with blonde hair. Can anyone help with how to get rid of the hair ,?

      Steptoe1, Oh dear. >8-0

I don't think there's any magical solution that you could dip the necklace in that would dissolve the hair, but wouldn't harm the necklace.

Unfortunately, I think you need a pair of tweezers, and a lot of patience.

Thanks kera , I think I will leave that job for someone else. Shame as the chain looks nice

I did think about fire lol

I honestly first thought of 'fire' too, Steptoe1 -- theoretically it shouldn't take much more than the briefest kiss of flame from a cigarette lighter (etc.) to make all that hair a thing of the past...might not smell so good, and one would need to be very careful to not hold the heat to it for any *but* the briefest of moments to keep from discoloring anything, but...??

That quick pass with a flame might work. Then follow up with a bath in warm, sudsy water.

Thanks for the help, I will give the fire a test , thanks for the tip not to give it to much heat as I would hate to ruin it
