I am needing information on this safe made by Hall Safe Company. Does anyone know what year it was manufactured or how much it weighs. I need to move it 9 feet but am concerned about the weight
Thanks

You don't give us any dimensions? I can see it has 3 himges, so it must be big. These old safes have concrete in them, so I'm guessing 1000+ lbs.
This is a 2 hinge, smaller safe and it weighs 850 lbs

it is approx. 6 feet tall 4 feet wide and 3 feet deep
dav2no1, Ha! I had my eye on that same listing earlier today, but I was busy with real life. :-(
fulcher, It sounds like your Halls safe is almost twice as big as the one at the bluecrabantiques site.
Here's another big one (from a different manufacturer) that might weigh as much as 4,000-5,000 lbs. Various commenters offer advice on moving it:

It's 6' tall, 40" wide, 36" deep. The doors are 8" thick and the sides are 6" to 8" thick.
