Hello everyone!!
Among all of my antique and vintage cast iron doorstops are a few rather new doorstops. This one is of a dame goose wearing a dress, apron, hat and sweater. I love the detail on this one and the painting of this goose is so well done. This one is not a reproduction, but a fairly new one. It was made some time during the 1980’s by John Wright Studios in Pennsylvania. I have a couple more goose doorstops made by the same foundry and I’ll post those very soon. This one is rather large and measures 12 1/8” tall and 8 5/8” wide.
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!
