This was sealed in the bag but I unsealed it. It was only $4 so might as well free it. It is a custom neckerchief and not official BSA but it would have had to be approved. Has a whimsical design on the back but nothing on the front side when worn.
Costa Mesa is a suburb of Orange County which almost reaches the shore. But Newport Beach keeps it a couple blocks from the water. Still there is some expensive reality there. It is in what is called the Greater Los Angeles Area.
As for Troop 189 I fear it no longer exists, not sure when it became defunct. Cody is modelling it in a 1980s uniform;
