    Better than nothing. PAT. Date 1878. Has a nice ring tone to it. Not what I was expecting, but never know what to expect.

      In earlier day, Native Americans liked these and the Dutch supplied many. They probably also wanted a bell around every Indian's neck. LOL

      I just wonder and think about the horses who wore this, or the milk cow so you always knew where she was, and the farmer or other person(s) whose sleighbell this belonged to. Nice piece of history!

      Ok, sorry, not a cowbell, a sleighbell. Haha. Still wonder about its history, but I always do on all old stuff. :-)
