(1101 items)
Carved Ivory Buddhist deity, early to mid-20th Century, depicted with eighteen arms and seated on lotus flower, ornately carved and pierced, mounted on wooden stand. From my favorite antique shop today.
She's beautiful and love the bejeweled crown
a cundi or a cundi in the Guanyin appearance
I hope it is ivory i cant see the Schreger lines , because i can,t see the bottom i think it is not early 20 century
for the rest i stay out of discussions ( like sumi-nikawa-urishi and consistency)
best regards Waki

really lovely!
ho2cultcha,
Thank you!
Love her! She’s so beautiful, especially with the colorful stones in her crown! She seems at peace. Oh, and the enameled? dark hair and eyes. Just that little bit of accent draws you in to see the detailed ornamentation of the extensions to her crown and her necklace. Nice, vintagelamp!
i wonder if it is that simple , IMO inlay stones don,t cause dispersion
rancherswife,
