Hello this is a old CD-ROM from a big stash of them I got years ago. Not actually played this yet, but if someone knows it and recommends it, I might do, I’ve not checked if it’s collectible

What's not to love about Chopin? Definitely listen to it! As far as collecting goes..cds are not there yet.

dav2no1, Wow, that is some pretty passionate cello playing.

I agree with one of the comments on the video about the setting of the concert looking like a painting, but one thing that puzzled me was the position of the pulpit in the church.

I'm fairly heathenish, so my experience of churches, etc., is mostly that of a guest at weddings and funerals, or as a tourist.

I think I only really became aware of pulpits that aren't in the middle from viewings of the very amusing opening scene of "Night of the Iguana":

The Night of the Iguana - Opening Scene - 1964

However, in the church where that concert is held, the pulpit is on the right:

Is this some kind of denomination thing?

Apparently, the church in Saanen is very old, has changed denominations over the centuries, and has been rebuilt more than once:

      However, I digress. Sorry, Steptoe1. };-)

The covers on this CD don't look quite right, but it's pretty close:

Keramikos..you have a sharp eye! Lol I just noticed the 2007 import sticker on the back, "Only for sale on the Indian ubcontinent"..ha ha..total rip off!

I have a friend that works for Dell computers. They'd send him all over the world..he told me some of these places work 9 to 5 making legit products, then after 5..they start making counterfeits for the "Grey" market.

dav2no1, Interesting about the "Grey" market.

The sticker is on the plastic wrapping, but in the cd it’s marked made in Germany.
