This is a new décor for me. That said some Welz décors are found only on baskets. I don't know if that will prove to be the case in this instance. The oxblood lines are on a white base with an amber outer casing.

It just confirms that the clever folks at Welz were true art glass boffins...in general I think there was more innovation & creativity in those times, despite the lack of "technology". Real creativity needs a sense of joy & playfulness combined with skill, & Welz totally nailed it with decors like this one....
I think what you say about Welz being innovative is very true. On the other side of the basket the colouration of the background is very uneven. One side virtually no red the other side swamped with red. Yet they still shipped it! I've never seen anything like this before and I guess that effects they could not reliably replicate they would discontinue. But only a guess. I have several pieces where they put bubbles into lines and it worked, but only for so far. Then the regularity was lost and it looked like scrambled eggs. I find these pieces interesting because not every idea will succeed. With 'H0neycomb' patterns loss of regularity is most common on complicated shapes. It's only surprising they leave the factory. Keeps us happy though!
