      Hi, NikkiJackson. :-)

Yes, you have a Singer buttonholer attachment set in the famous clamshell AKA the Jetson or Atomic case.

It's Simanco part number 489500, which means that the buttonholer attachment is specifically for Singer's slant-needle family of machines. Here's what is supposed to be in the case:

(From the description for SIMANCO 489510, the other clamshell buttonholer attachment set)

      *snip*

Buttonholer attachment fits in place of standard presser foot with operating lever engaging the needle clamp. Requires feed cover plate and special attachment screw.

(From the description for SIMANCO 489500)

      *snip*

Comes with a set of 5 plastic templates (5/16", 5/8", 13/16", 1-1/16" and 1-1/16" keyhole), feed cover plate and a special long mounting screw for attaching the item to the presser bar. Manual dated 1960. Similar to item 489510. US version came in a pink clamshell aka "Jetsons".

Which Singers are slant needle machines? Here is a website that tells you everything you ever wanted to know about the grand daddy of the Singer slant needle machines plus its descendants, but were afraid to ask:

More about the Jetson/Atomic clamshell buttonsholer attachment set:

As to worth/value, I myself usually don't go there.

Here is a blog about the Singer clamshell buttonholer attachment sets that touches on the subject of worth:
