This model is an early version M4 Medium Tank aka Sherman. It has no hatch for the loader and the 2 piece commander's hatch. Most had been converted with later hatches by this time in the war which was the Battle of the Bulge. I am going to say something very controversial here. Almost everything that is considered fact about the is wrong aside from it being dependable. They could go 5,000 miles without major maintenance. They weren't called Ronsons, burb=n rate was the same as most other tanks and there was no record of a Tiger tank taking out 5 Shermans. In fact the M4 had a positive kill rate over German armor.
The model has the shorter 75mm main gun which did not do as well against armor but had a much better high explosive round than higher velocity weapons. It was a conundrum throughout WWII. Looks like I went down a rabbit hole.
Super tank model from the Bulge, you have the best WW2 stuff fort
