Firstly this isn't a Welz basket, the rim shape is wrong and so is the handle. It is colour fade pink to white with the tiny rods encased in a clear ridged outer surface. The little pot is also ridged, broadly the same décor but is colour fade mauve to white. Imo they share a manufacturer.

Beautiful. Congratulations. I think this vase of mine would fit them (probably Harrach).

This is a SUPER basket, Peggy - congratulations, & it could not have gone to a more deserving owner!
This type of pinkish - mauve to white spreading decor with Peloton is a familiar one to me, I have numerous examples in this decor, & have often wondered about their origin. I think I'm going to have to do a group shot of all of them for comparison's sake, to see if they have any distinctive shapes in common with documented items...

Ales, I have that exact vase from your link. In two versions as a matter of fact, with one of them lacking the crimped top.

Larksel, without a doubt the basket is the same décor as your beautiful vase with its flamboyant rim. Good to know it's probably Harrach, thank you!

Marin, I think you should definitely do a group shot. Who knows how many more people might find they have something matching one of your shapes!
