I know this looks like last week's post but it is a completely different model. Although both are Massey Ferguson Combine Harvesters. I'll have to make s post of all the different versions. This version is a Major Pack made from 1959-1966. Major Packs were larger models in a scale similar to the standard size models. This would go with a tractor. The Major Pack line was absorbed into the King Size line and was gone by 1967. This model was replaced with a completely different casting for King Size. The detail on this one is pretty good but it does have the look of a 1950s Matchbox like the driver. Also it is a darker red than what was used for later Matchbox models. This one has arange wheel hubs which were used mid range for this model. The early ones were silver and the last were yellow.
I have three other Matchbox I picked up today so we will have a month of Matchbox Mondays.
Great little combine!!
Thank you very much Scott.
Reminds me of being a kid and then growing up a little and driving one on the family farm !~
Thank you very much Phil. That sounds like fun.
