We bought these two water colours from Martin Turner, when he exhibited them for sale on the Bayswater Road, in Summer 1988, just before we were to move abroad. We wanted a memory of the London we love and will always remember and these are perfect. We live in Indianapolis Indiana but out hearts will always be in England. I have done many things, a wine bar in Ealing, a fragrance company here in Indianapolis, a radio show contributor as their US correspondent, owned by my long time friend Dee Anderson (daughter of Sylvia and Gerry Anderson of Thunderbirds fame) and even designed firefighting and military gloves for major fire departments and the US. Army. I am now an author with 7 books published, mainly biographies of celebrities and I love writing. I have family in Ealing, two daughters (both Reiki Masters) and 6 grandchildren as well as two sons living here. These two paintings hang in our living room as a reminder of the London we will always love.

The minute I laid eyes on the first picture in this post while surfing Collectors Weekly Show &Tell, I knew who the artist was. There is no mistaking his style.

So you actually bought these directly from Martin Turner? I need to put you in touch with somebody who is trying to catalog Turner's work:

Here are some other Martin Turner works posted at CW S&T:

Here's the one that started my mild obsession:

D'oh! That is to say, Dr. Chris Stuttle. I must be having a senior moment. >8-0
