i got a few assumptions, actually the intention of the vase is that we believe that it is a DA QING QIANGLONG NI AN ZhI, actually it is an Qialongnian zhi , they leave the Da Qing out
so we are commited at best to the revival period qianlong apogriph from around 1890
but we are concerning the mark in a double frame mark , which probably is printed and it is not double frame but is not closed fluidim frame there is white between it
Above the phoenix ( or slightly possible HOHO style is a sort of magpie or duck and IMO it is missing the contrast of an GUANGHU period type of birds
ruyi heasd top rims and traffic lights underborders are always a reason for acedamicall debat
but i still believe it is quite well, probably Republican period with a quite nice design in a not so well condition ( a lot of discoloration , but fortunaly even discoloration)
this is IMO still a value vase . the market is going up for this , you did well
addendum when you hug wife do you still keep your hat on ?
word late forgotten -late republic period
A typical high quality painting called also "Kaofang" that vase wearing at the bottom four character apocryph red seal mark (Qianlong)indicates that is around 1960/70 highly collectable one as you can observe it's wearing three degrees(lines) within the circle...best quality painting and the name of the painter....of course Chinese or Asian buyers will never mention it to you(mostly)
