    Brass night deposit door. It is very heavy over 100 pounds. Removed from post office in Louisville, KY during construction renovation.

      Mosler Night Deposit Box

      Taken on the side of an old bank in the Lower Price Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio.

      There was a time when you'd see these on the walls of all the old banks around town and Mosler's huge factory was a prominent fixture on US Route 4 in Hamilton, Ohio. I'm fairly sure the factory building is still there even though the company folded.
