Made of turned solid maple wood, it seems pretty obvious what these were probably intended to be -- "billy-club" type weapons, for use by persons in some form of 'authority' (hopefully legitimate?) to assist in beating down other persons who might otherwise want to argue with said 'authority', for whatever reasons of their own. They're a little over 2' long and about 1-1/4" diameter, handhold ridges and a lanyard hole are at one end of each. Both have a yellow price tag showing they cost $5.00/pc. from somewhere, sometime.
