You have a S&W 2nd version, Patent Pending Model 100 pair of handcuffs manufactured in Springfield, Massachusetts circa 1978 prior to S&W moving their handcuff manufacturing to Houlton, Maine in 1979.
There were 2 patent pending versions of the Model 100.
The first version patent pending M-100 had the “double lock slot” on the key-way side only.
The second version patent pending M-100 had the “double lock slot” on both sides of the cuff like yours shown.
When they finally manufactured the M-100 in 1979 at the Houlton, Maine plant, they used the version 2 patent pending model and stamped M-100 rear side of the left hand cuff.
