Hello This is a long shot, but trying to find out more information about these stones, I think they must have been part of some kind of jewellery. I have no idea as to what it might have been.

Worn to ward off the evil eye . Popular in Greece as well as others .
slacljack has got it right. I bought mine in Turkey. Seems to work very well.
