Hi everyone, I inherited this coin from my grandfather and I've tried to identify it on Google but the markings are different then this one. I'm also not sure which way the marks should be facing. Does anyone know what country, year or denomination? Or suggest a website I can search on.
waki insert ( on palace deviation daoguang )
they changed the regular chinese Dao Guang Tong Bao 1820-1850 ( the 2 on the left observe side) in the Manchu mongolian in the on the reverse side
well that was the nobrainer part and the real question is are we in an
1Daoguang Tongbao; Boo-chiowan or
2Daoguang Tongbao; Boo-chiowan
3Cash - Daoguang Tongbao; Boo-y?n
IMO we are in a 1 Cash - Daoguang Tongbao; Boo-chiowan (fake) or a collatoral minting , because is not the right in the mongolian manchu way , downward on photo 4 the downwards on the right
but actually i can,t see it its all blurr and i loose resolution if i enhance it
so it is just a laymans guess
down sloping at the top on photo 4 on the right is strange
