    (263 items)

Hi all. I found this this weekend. I searched ebay, Etsey, Replacements and Google, and for the life of me I can't find a match out there. It is 8.75 X 4.75 inches. It has some incised writing on the back above the label, but it is full of glaze and I can't read it. It also has a hand done mark that looks to say 1/1. It seems to be in pristine condition. I'm not familiar with Carltonware, but the thing is very pretty, and the color is awesome. Thanks for looking!

Not the thing most collectors are looking for probably because its for me a first time I ever saw it. Gorgeous art deco, so beautiful a pattern and shape !~

bit the easy way out , because we to compare the status , applied for versus registration

then we have to search for the date when additional comes in

then we have we have to judge the latency period of the art deco 1920-1939 is contraire the marking

and then we have to scrutinize 2347 entries in the databank instead of the stated not to find
    3. apostata apostata, 2 years ago
phildmorris extrapolate this thats no problem, you got the backswirl on the double u (W) the application for the mods ( japan and Austria ) were around 1934

IMO Philip overstretch the period 1920-1939 ( co signing + embossing +aplying mods registrations can,t be early this is something like 1935-1939

tghe embossing is probably 4 number mark depends on the dewign probably between 1100 and 1200, just mail the factory , they know this within a few minutes, because this ought to be a nobrainer for them, and otherwise i have to scroll for a whole day

you might think what a fuss , but there is value difference between early and late deco, do want you want, whatever makes you happy

      CUTE greeting Waki

I was just stating that most collectors would want this but not many know about this pattern. I did not want or mean to cause trouble aposta !!~

I’m sorry Apostata, thanks for your interest, but I’m having a hard time understanding what you’re saying. Phil, thanks for the kind words! I’ve been around the block a time or two and have never seen this stuff. The shop I bought it from had just gotten in a ton, all different patterns, from an estate.

phil you are one of the good guys , you are a tolerable and always optimistically to people i really respect that ( no hypocrisy)

i got a thin line to walk , i can,t say to people , this stuff is not ok , because , it got no purpose , i want people to like art , but i don,t want lie, because a lot of people think they find the holy grail, or they think i am arrogant

i just assess that,s all , and i make mistakes, actually i am not suitable to assess and the reason why is , i can,t understand people

very often i think , ok its hard , well mail the factory, or i think compare the marks in the flow charts , or ok i am a rooky , so lets subscribe for the selling of an auction site for a few dollars

i am not here for cheering section , and you are ok when you think i am ok stuff

actually the problem here concerning this is even more complicated because the spread is rather and the revival the deco style during the sixties, but i think we got by the addendum in the mark for applying the mods

the only one who makes trouble on this is site me, because i am bad loser, and a certain person who read books( really) and can,t assess her own stock and can,t see the difference between an tongzhi rim and qianjiangcai rim ,,

well they can hate me , they can love me, at least i admit when i am wrong and talking nonsense,

      best regards WAki

actually its valuable contribution , but it is the same conclusion i had1935-1939 probably , like i stated probably 1100-1200 number , these are running numbers so IMO it,is rather well pinpointed ( 1936-1937 ) well assesment of yours , good teamwork

I think you nailed it, tallcakes! Thanks, the soup bowl sure looks like Roseville. I knew someone here would have the answer!

I see some of them are a bit different colours. I used to collect Beswick Palm Tree but now just have my collection. One thing I noted about this company is that when the colours have faded, they still kept on making. That meant so many variations and now I see this piece I see the variations from tallcakes link. Yours has that incredible faded pastels which are so desirable. The person who put their own style of painting on this copy was a person of incredible talent !~

I see a plate that comes from this pattern possibly because of the concentric lines in some of the basket weave long lines. Ebay unfortunately removes their items now from online when they are sold, so not as much info is kept but rather lost online now.

Aposta, please do not be so negative on your person, you are all you got and you have to keep positive about yourself. We ALL have our days when we are a bit negative but you need to protect yourself from becoming down on yourself. It can be no worse when you are down on yourself. I am sure there are many people you have impressed over the years and would not want you to call yourself down. We all are here on this Earth and we all have our self worth, we all make a contribution to life that is very important, even the small things !~

no cynicism is just my nature, is actually a culpable attitude, only now it proliferates through my grandson's SMA illness, actually I don't even dare to pick up the phone anymore, because I get completely incoherent of the fear
did i impresse people actually i don,t know, i think i am overrated, , but most of the time i dig deep, but that,s just data mining
