I would like to introduce you to this bowl as it is of really fine quality. White opal with blue, no signature. The shell was etched in three stages, but has no additional painting. According to the cut, it was only made twice in this color combination. Since the bowl is listed in the list of cuts close to Mary Becker-Schider's designs, it cannot be ruled out that she designed it too. However, at the moment too many such glasses by this designer are attributed to me. It is to be hoped that more will come to light about these designs and this period of production at Loetz. I found similar decors, but they can't really be verified as Beckert-Schider. At the base between the foot and the wall there were still remains of a black lacquer to cover the glass during etching. A bowl with similar leaves was sold at Dorotheum in December 2018 (catalogue number 103). Height 15.3cm
