    Adolphe Dalpayrat (1871-1934)
Small bud vase, 6cm high. I think it's porcelaine, with a red glaze and a spot of green. Adolphe was the son of Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat, they worked together.i think it was made in the beginning of the 19th century.
    Cheers for looking.

Ummm...with great hesitation and intending NO disrespect whatsoever to anybody in any way...but I still gotta ask if I'm the only one that 'saw' a 'torso over a big booty' with my first glance(s) at this little vase??

(if its any comfort, I have one little not dis-similarly sized vase around here somewhere, which for whatever reasons has always looked like 'testicles' to me in its own shape, from the first time I ever saw it...?) <LOL>

Blammoammo, our friend kwqd made it easier for me for his finding and leaving a fresh <love it> for my little VanBriggle 'testicle' vase earlier today, which I knew I'd shown here already, and so here 'tis... ;-)

Whether 'big bootie-butts' or 'testicles' -- its really probably more a matter of my own admittedly slightly twisted mind to see such aspects in otherwise innocent pottery pieces (in the same way people 'see things' in clouds?) which I'd be even more certain their artists never imagined or intended...THANKS for not being offended by my initial reaction to yours, which truly *does* look like a beautiful piece.

      :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
