Appears to be Chinese. ..possibly something about new years eve? Apostata will surely be along to comment on authenticity..
Thank you so much it’s so hard to tell the difference ! If you are a novice ;)
x waki insert , hanfu , demising jiezi from Jinxian Guan to Pingshanze, why Wushamao is out ? scare off or swatting devices
Thank you apostata can you date the item?
actually i did,not explain anything yet, i gonna explain the almost all of the
technical
because quite easy , altough and the social antropsopical cultural is awfull tough
this is the redflagging for my self, have to combine the status with the social stratification,
with head gear
probably this time it take a real long time, (death in the family , SMA)don,t worry i never forget, and when i say never forget, i never forget, even when it takes years
just one simple tip and forget the whole coming assesment, YOU NEVER BUY PORCELAIN WITH AN OFFCENTERED MARK , see you
answer to dave
well i never saw a new years depiction this way ( only the festivities , dancing dragons , Gakudo,s ( children etc )
or a lantern scenes
well say it wanted a family scene you got different generations ( a type of pater familias scene) for instant the announcements Theme ( let,s say grandpa look at me i delivered a child , grandpa next time we keep the stork )
and this is an distinction on sociale stratificatie ( status etc , pseudo tang period,) and there is not an big indiscrepantie between generations
Thank you so so much aposata, I wish I could bottle you and bring you on my seeking treasures adventures! So interesting!
Aly What Waki is saying...the (x insert) is a bookmark for him with reminders. Sometimes it takes him awhile to complete his appraisal. He is very busy, but is very derailed. But he never forgets a piece once he sees it and will always come back to comment.
**That was supposed to say ...he is very detailed **
technical answer aly
bottom reads da qing yongzheng yong zheng nian zhi written in kaishu script
pretends to be made 1723-1735, but it aint
well there a lot of theoratical shut out for this statement
only a few matters
1 the mark is off centered2
2 the fluidum and the application is wrong
imagine you have two concentric cirkels by hand , you can,t prevent stroking ( frotte) one cirkel is slightly smaller os less dense ot or a stroke and pressure influence
i think technically they stamped (not rubber stamped)it , probably there left outside circels there is a wiggle , which is likely by means of uneven pressure
so it is all about fluidum stroking and off centering
i think there are more indicators , the shaping is standshaping , well it seldom happens it happens on bitongs pensel pots , but not in this elongoted form i think , probably only in the revival pieces
the sedimentation is not present , the ferro sedimentation is not present ( but not mandatory)
and i don,t trust what they call the afterglaring which is the blue shing trough of glazing
so we shut out 1723-1735
but do we have to shut out the revival pieces lets say 1890-1910, same reasons , the crackle is superficial looked kind of bleach
pricesely i don,t know, i think we have to asses to resess of the underrim incomparison to the sloping and the ground plane , and i think it is not even republic period but a sort of 1960 on
headgear Hanfu -Putou and social stratification
the gonna slash me because i am not good in this and the styling is hard to read ( piece is a bit sloppy , so i got some ludicrous assumption which probably are easy to refute
some officals in it
assumption
we are probably related to tang dynasty official because is in the Chuijiao Putou form and the so called Wushamao - so called spread wingers
you might we are out of the woods but we are not , we are in it, the styling of the vase is bad
we are dependent for the social stratification from the trinkling down of the Chuijiao Putou, because later there is populair use also
and we are probably committed to the drooping down of the head wrap, so the spread is awfull wide, from the local artist to the to a very high official
personnaly i think it a VERy high official (square shaping on design on the chest
so that is the mid one in the center
i got a rather stupid perception , from who is the right arm, the right person or the mid person, because it change the dynamics, of the persons of the right from just an attendant to a servant
personnaly i think it is an attendant because her position is not submissive, and the official is IMO not holding an Zhangman , but possible a shaped septer, HE IS HOLDING IT !
the left one is an utter mystery , it is nervingbreaking because the depth of the headgear i combination with the vertical barring in the hatdesign
believe me scrutinize this from hell and back, i got a very far fetched assumption , a type of JIEZI head , a late run out who trinkled down in usage to the military strata
right under probably scolar see scepter
and servant very maybe coolness waver , but very more likelijk a servant with fly CHASERand not a SWATTER
i dont know the dimension is complete bogus, i i compared it buddha acoltites sweepers
and the extremelijke rare, riding the phenix, scenes sweeping device
no sweat well i am derailed actually i am crazy as a loon, but i always been
for the rest i don,t i know might be pathetic, or over attentions seeking , you name , but i am really completely wasted, this is just therapy for a basket case , UNtil Pokerstars is licenced Holland ,
forget the word not before Wushamao ( is different type of hat)mid guy high iu front is holding a tablet not a septer ( srange mistake!)
What about this one Apostata https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/309945-vase-chinese?in=user another vase but no markings. Thank you
well i am on it , but i just don,t know , so that gonna be a be a bad assessment, with a lot refutation, i can,t combine kiln pitting + beehive + application , so they probably gonna shoot me
