Ausführung 165 is a frequently used decoration, but there is little to be found about it in literature or on the internet. It was made around 1916. There are many colored variants, the wall is divided with a black wavy line. On the black part there are rows of white dots painted in enamel, on the colored part a black stylized flower decoration can be seen. A well-known piece in this version is the box (PN III 861, four feet and PN III 1006, 3 feet, see https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/133386-2-prod-nr-861-four-feet-ausf-165-l ) by Hans Bolek, who probably did not design this decor, but is only responsible for the shape. This box was again included in the current program in 1920, also as version 165. The forerunner of this box (PN III 811) designed by Bolek from 1916/17 had a rounder shape and a different decor (see photo).
