Yet once again I covered everything in the title section. So now time for padding. This is a Yesteryear model which is now older than the vehicle for which it is a model. The model being sold from 1958 through 1962.
My favorite features of this model are the exposed exhaust system and the chain drive. It is an early racing car. Racing cars were developed about 15 minutes after the first cars were made. As usual these had massive 4 cylinder engine.
I have a couple more possibly redundant Yesteryears yet to post plus an exciting visit to a real ship.
Very elegant car, would have loved to have taken a drive in a real one back then - quite spiffy as they used to say :)
