      Correct— not Civil War era. The jacket looks to be 1880-90s.

      The bottom right shows a Grand Army of the Republic membership badge. The GAR was a fraternal organization for Union veterans of the Civil War.

      Faternal coat. Post Civil War there were many faternal groups which wore military style uniforms.
