The Bedford Tractor & York Freightmaster Trailer was sold from 1961 through 1966. The first version had a trailer marked as Davies Tyres. In 1965 it was changed to International Transport. Probably because Lesney was doing more international (US) shipping of Matchbox models and was being a bit less Anglo-centric.
This model is actually two models. There is the Bedford tractor and Freightmaster trailer. Both have separate markings on their underside to this effect. The tractor and trailer can be separated from one another. Also the doors on the trailer open and close.
The Major Pack line was to add larger vehicles like this in a scale similar to their cars. The Major Pack line was never large and the last few models were absorbed by 1967. Major Pack models are not all that common so I tend to buy them when I find them. I think I have 6 and 1/2 so far.
