You may recognize this as that very large dinosaur-like creature from the Jurassic Park series. It was the one at the aquarium theater that jumps out the water to eat a shark whole. I think they made it about twice as large as it should be. The real ones reached perhaps 50 feet long. About the same or a little larger than a T Rex. The bite not as powerful whoever. This was not a dinosaur but is believed to have been warm blooded. It ate other aquatic prehistoric reptiles.
Now as for the toy it is over a foot long. The mouth opens and shuts, and it has a removable plastic base.
Currently Schleich is making the best quality toy dinosaurs although the quality is so high perhaps it should be called a model.
