In my trolling travels looking for glass on the European decorative goods resale sites, I found this appealingvase. It turns out there are quite a few survivors today, sporting the same mark.

The glass fabrication reminds me of Legras's more economical export glass items from the pre war era of 1900-1910. Marked with applied white stamp FLORENTINE ART CAMEO, with a dot number .18. An art nouveau trend medium size vase with some wear and grime.

what is your point, sure giant databases help. for those who have access, does not mean the rest of us can't provide accurate information, in fact databases are made of millions of human resources that are not always reliable and true, as resource book athors have found out decades after they published their reference material.

1 well i got no talent so a databank is convenient, just press button
2 nowadays sampling is more important , because they take the variance out
3 you have to know the curriculum of provenance, to avoid railroading
4 i guarentee my pieces , because part of it is not nickle and stuff, it is client service

sure you can get it from books, butt you still need the sampling , or mayor players has to vouch for you, otherwise we are toast , i am not selling peanuts,
